He works for the Prince’s Trust in Tottenham, he’s a comedian, an actor-cum-filmmaker and he finds the time to manage a start-up production company in the mix, too. I got Limz to tell me a little something about how it all started before he gets too big for this blog.
I started performing stand-up comedy when I was 18 years old. I got into performing while studying BTEC Acting at Westminster Kingsway College. When I discovered I enjoyed stand-up comedy, I applied to perform at my first gig at the Comedy Store, Leicester Square. After the gig, the adrenaline and the fun I had, gave me more ammunition to progress and find my next stand-up comedy show which was at Kojo’s Comedy Funhouse, Bond Street.
What I love about Tottenham is the diversity within the community. As a performer, we travel a lot in order to reach other audiences and I feel living and growing up in Tottenham has helped me to develop relationships with other cultures, without any barriers.
When I’m in Tottenham, I like to hang out with my friends and family, whether it’s playing football in the park, going shopping or getting some chicken from Chick King.
I am currently working on more short film productions and sketches.
